& Hearing Center in Dunkirk

Our office in Dunkirk was established in 1959. For three generations, we have provided hearing aids and complete audiology services to Northern Chautauqua County, including the Fredonia, Silver Creek, Cassadaga, Westfield, and Angola areas. The Dunkirk office is handicap accessible and has convenient parking at the door, allowing for easy access for all of our clients. We provide complete hearing aid services with a hearing aid repair lab onsite.

Many hearing aid repairs can be performed in-office, as we have a countless stock of hearing aid replacement parts. We can fix all brands of hearing aids, including Miracle Ear and Beltone hearing aids. One of the major advantages of doing business with us locally is the ability to service what we sell! This allows for a longer life span for the hearing aid. Employees from local businesses, including Universal Stainless, ECR Incorporated, and SUNY Fredonia are given discounts for hearing aids through our local discount program.

Hearing Evaluations

We provide comprehensive audiology evaluations. The hearing test itself is quick and painless. We will begin by looking inside your ears with an otoscope and then we will perform a variety of tests that will determine your hearing ability. After the evaluation we will sit down with you and your family to discuss the result and determine all of your possible options.

Custom Fitting

We will custom fit and program your hearing aids to your specific needs. Most people are not familiar with how to properly wear a hearing aid. We will show you the step-by-step process for inserting and removing your hearing aids so you can be sure you’re using them correctly.

Hearing Aid Cleaning and Repair

Your hearing aids are going to be with you during most of your daily activities, so naturally at some point they will need maintenance. We offer comprehensive cleanings and repairs on all makes and models of hearing aids. In order to get the most out of your hearing aids and to protect your investment, it’s recommended that you schedule yearly service appointments.

Tinnitus Management

Tinnitus “ringing in the ears,” is a noise you perceive that does not come directly from your environment. It is often described as sounding like a ringing or buzzing in the ears. The majority of the time, it’s a symptom of untreated hearing loss. It’s a condition that currently has no known cure. However, there are many steps we can take to manage tinnitus and provide relief for our patients.

In-Home Visits

We understand that some people have obstacles that prevent them from making it to our office. We don’t believe that should stop them from taking control of their hearing loss, and that’s why we offer in-home hearing tests. Compensation Cases

Located in our Jamestown office is our center for compensation claims for hearing aids. The clients who have received a compensation settlement for hearing loss are entitled to hearing aid coverage as part of their compensation claim. We process all claims to the insurance carrier, getting payment for the hearing aids from the compensation insurance company.
